Penance is now available on Linux!
Hey all once again!
Sorry this took so long, but Penance has now native build for Linux. Again, I can't really test it myself since I don't have Linux machine currently, but it should work fine except for few known issues:
- Mouse sensitivity can break below 11
- Mouse cursor in main menu is really big
I don't know other issues so far, so report me those if you encounter them, I'll keep them in mind for future projects. I probably can't fix this build further. Also mention the distro you're using!
However luckily with Linux, you can use Steam Proton to run the game just fine, or at least that's what I've been told. So if the native build doesn't work well for you, just add Penance to Steam Proton and you're good to go!
I hope you will enjoy the game despite it's issues and I will be building Linux builds for my future projects as well. Happy fragging!

For some reason the mouse cursor isn’t there in the main menu.
Yeah, seems the mouse cursor has problems in linux builds. Either it's too big or doesn't exist at all. Idk what's causing it :(
A workaround could be making the main menu navigable with the arrow keys.
